One and two-week medical mission trips are the core of the program. Most projects are general medicine, surgery and dentistry. Eye projects may be "surgery only" or a full team of eighty people.

Dentists, primary care and specialty physicians, surgeons, optometrists, nurses, health educators, trained couselors, other health professionals, translators, techs, fix-it people, general helpers, and spouses can come. Summer projects are planned so families can bring teenagers.

Financial Arrangements

Participants pay for their own airfare plus an MMI participation fee. The fee for your two week project is $875 US ($1313 Canadian), or one week $660 US ($990 Canadian). The registration portion of $100 US ($150 Canadian) may be transferred to another project, but is not refundable unless the project is cancelled. Expenses are receipted for tax purposes.
