Programs
Long term voluntary service programs from 6 to 12 months in developed and developing countries around the world.
Qualifications
Volunteers must be between the ages of 18 and 25 (and up to the age of 30 in certain countries), with or without qualifications, after secondary school or during university studies or (un)employment.
There is currently no representation in the USA, so volunteers must reside outside the US.

Mission Statement
The International Cultural Youth Exchange (formerly, the International Christian Youth Exchange) originated in 1949 as a post-World War II reconciliation exchange programme between Germany and the United States of America. Ever since more and more countries have joined the programme. ICYE is open to all persons who subscribe to the stated aims and purposes regardless of their religious affiliation.
